Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting LAMP Developer in Eugene.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing, testing, implementing and maintaining products and internal systems
  • Being involved with, and responsible for, all aspects of the product lifecycle
  • Being able to quickly solve problems, writing maintainable code, and adhering to quality standards

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design
  • Must be proficient in database concepts, SQL and familiar with relational databases
  • Candidates must also have experience with scripting languages (PHP, Ruby, Perl or Python) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Must have experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments
  • Experience with testing and MVC Frameworks
  • 4 year undergraduate degree or higher (with exceptions) preferably in Computer Science
