Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Telecommuting Lead Avatar Artist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identitying concepts such as customizing user avatars, saving outfits, and facial mesh generation
- Designing VR environments and interactions for customizing avatars
- Designing and developing virtual NPCs/AI
Skills and Requirements Include:
- We do 2-3 retreats per year, and attendance is required
- Several years of industry experience, shipped one or more apps/games
- 3 years of experience with humanoid avatar 3D modeling, animating and rigging
- Strong expertise with 3D modeling tools and workflow (Maya, Modo, Zbrush, or similar)
- Experience scripting and developing in Unity
- Experience working remotely, independently, and collaboratively on small teams
