Job Summary

A software company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Lead Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Learn APIs to connect with outside data aggregators or partner institutions
  • Understand an existing system and vision a more complete, scalable system
  • Have significant control over systems and architecture decisions

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Travel would be limited to 3-4 times a year for important meetings with large clients or prospects
  • Experience with Git, and GitHub version control tools
  • Experience in software development and/or release, configuration, build, and deployment management automation
  • PHP application development with a mysql database
  • LAMP stack and JavaScript experience
  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including software configuration management practices
