Job Summary
A provider of health services is filling a position for a Telecommuting Licensed Behavioral Health Professional Care Advocate.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Focusing on initial inpatient admission for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients
- Making patient assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
- Coordinating benefits and transitions between various areas of care
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or Licensed Ph.D., or an RN with 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
- Licenses must be active and unrestricted in California
- 2+ years post-Masters experience in a related mental health environment
- Proficient Microsoft skills
- Dedicated, distraction-free home work space with access to high speed internet
