Job Summary

An online education company is in need of a Telecommuting Life Skills Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Create quest-based courses that align with our vision of active, discovery-based learning
  • Ensure that quests and courses meet the needs of students and mentors in the schools
  • Train new mentors on how to use the life skills quests and courses

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel to the DC-area once every three months
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling or similar field
  • Experience developing curriculum or programs to help learners develop essential life skills
  • Familiarity with research on life skills and social and emotional learning
  • Experience teaching social and emotional learning
