Job Summary
A learning institute is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Literacy Program Coordination Coach.
Must be able to:
- Work with individual and small groups of students to foster engagement in and maintain credibility of literacy programs
- Conduct weekly and biweekly progress monitoring for enrolled students
- Research supplemental programs and materials; train and assist with the implementation of supplemental programs and instructional materials
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to participate, present, and showcase literacy efforts in ongoing team meetings and willingness to travel on occasion (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Degree in Education or related Education Field
- Valid Maine Professional Teaching Certificate
- Successful K-12 classroom teaching experience
- Knowledge of state and national reading and writing standards and curriculum standards
- Knowledge of current research on best practices for improving reading achievement and the integration of technology in online lesson design
