Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommuting Mainframe Support Transmit Conversion Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Participating in supporting numerous Mainframe-related projects designed to modernize Mainframe operations
- Researching and contacting transmit end points to coordinate new transmit data
- Working on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments
Position Requirements Include:
- Broad experience IT operations skills/concepts with extensive proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- Requires eight to twelve years of experience in IT operations
- Large IBM Mainframes, MVS operating systems, MVS JCL
- FTP/FTPS file transfers, ESP and Control M scheduling or comparable products
- Report Distribution, Operation support, IBM Mainframe
