Job Summary

A university needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Master of Science in Nursing Faculty Member.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Using online technology and resources so that knowledge, information, feedback, and critique are imparted to and shared with students
  • Teaching courses in the areas of FNP, AGPCNP and/or AGACNP specialties
  • Participating in school and university committee service

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Some travel will be required to attend National Faculty meetings and/or commencement activities
  • Earned Masters in Nursing (MSN) and an earned Doctorate (preferably in Nursing or related field) from an accredited institution
  • A record of professional scholarly contributions to their field of specialization
  • A minimum of two years’ experience of teaching in a family nurse practitioner and/or adult nurse practitioner/gerontology nurse practitioner/ adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner
  • Two years clinical/practical experience as a family nurse practitioner and/or adult nurse practitioner/gerontology nurse practitioner/adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner
  • Evidence of current RN and APRN license in one of the 50 states in the US required
