A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommuting Materials Scientist in Tampa.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting research on the structures and property of printing materials
- Planning laboratory experiments to confirm feasibility of processes and techniques used in ink production
- Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the products to meet project specifications
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science and Engineering/Chemical Engineering
- 1 year of experience in Materials Science or Test Engineering may be substituted for degree
- Six months' experience with developing materials characterization and failure analysis of digital printing media
- Six months' experience designing tests on new coating formulations
