Job Summary
A company that sells personal computers and technology related products they manufacture has an open position for a Telecommuting Medical Claims Examiner.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Researches healthcare appeals and grievances
- Processes insurance codes and data
- Works with Madicare and Medicaid plans
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Recent experience in insurance/healthcare industry to support our clients
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPC, ICD-9, ICD-10 codes
- Knowledge of HMO, PPO Medicare and Medicaid plans, as well as experience with Medicare Part D
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Knowledge of one or more of the following claims paying systems; AMISYS, AMISYS Advance, AMISYS Advance Release 4 or 6, NASCO, latest version of Facets, EZ-Cap, Rims, Qcare, Xcelys, NextGen, QNXT, ITS, IKA, WGS, Call Care Browser, GBAS, Genelco, HEALTHsuite, IMAX, and Diamond
