Job Summary
Pharmaceutical company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing and finalizing appeal decisions
- Assisting in the oversight of the appeals process
- Assisting in the oversight of the quality improvement and clinical programs for all lines of business
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Willingness to travel
- Doctor of Allopathic Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
- Must maintain an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine, in good standing, in at least one state
- Board-certified by a specialty board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in the medical and/or pharmacy field
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver medical and clinical policies, procedures and programs
