Job Summary
An institute for higher education is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Medical Reimbursement and Coding Adjunct Faculty Member in Richmond.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating a classroom environment that provides a foundation of class work and hands-on experiences
- Participating in campus-wide initiatives in support of recruitment, retention, and graduation goals
- Teaching half virtual and half in the classroom
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attend required college functions including staff meetings, in-service training, graduation, and special activities
- One of the following nationally recognized certifications from AHIMA are required: CCS or CCS-P
- Possess excellent workplace and academic skills
- Possess and exhibit qualities of professionalism, integrity, self-esteem, self-motivation
- Must have a strong desire to guide students to improve their career prospects
