Telecommuting Medical Technologist in Park Ridge

Job Summary

A labratory has an open position for a Telecommuting Medical Technologist in Park Ridge.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Providing technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory
• Selecting test methodologies appropriate for the clinical use of the test menu
• Enrolling the laboratory in an approved program commensurate with services offered

Qualifications Include:

• Required to be on-site once a month and must be available to provide consultation either on-site,by telephone, or electronically
• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science
• 2 years lab training or experience in the non-waived Blood Gas Testing
• Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent
