Job Summary

An environmental service provider has an open position for a Telecommuting Meeting Services Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Develop and maintain the ongoing working relationship with international contacts to expand sales
  • Serve as the registration manager, working directly with registration vendors
  • Work directly with the Meeting Services Director on the operational design and planning of all association annual events

Qualifications Include:

  • 15-20% Travel required
  • Experience with site selection, including negotiating terms of contracts with knowledge of meeting industry trends
  • Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, event management, business administration, communications, marketing or related field, required
  • 3 to 5 years of event planning experience required
  • Certified Meeting Professional designation required or candidate should complete designation within 1 year of hire
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outloo
