Job Summary
A healthcare solutions company has an open position for a Telecommuting Member Service Representative.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving inbound calls from current and potential members with inquiries
- Receiving calls from providers with questions regarding member eligibility, coverages, benefit types, copays, claims, etc
- Maintaining performance and quality standards based on established call center metrics and benchmarks
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be able to work the duration of the project (September - March)
- 1 year Commercial (under 65), Medicaid, and/or Medicare health plan experience OR the equivalent customer service/call center experience
- Position requires strong computer literacy (Microsoft Windows, keyboarding skills, strong systems aptitude, etc.)
- Position requires strong computer & telephone multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
