Job Summary

A business system resource management company is in need of a Telecommuting MetaSolv M6 Engineer in Chicago.

Must be able to:

  • Model both Layer 2 and 3 devices in MetaSolv
  • engineer DWDM and CWDM fiber ring networks
  • Model LAMDA, DWDM, CWDM paths in MetaSolv

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP V4 and V6
  • Strong understanding and able to engineer DWDM and CWDM fiber ring networks
  • Ability to model both Layer 2 and 3 devices in MetaSolv
  • Experience with SONET rings
  • Ability to model LAMDA, DWDM, CWDM paths in MetaSolv
