Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Microsoft Solutions Engineer in Richmond.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Driving whiteboard conversations to explain deployments and use cases
  • Supporting proof-of-concept and sales efforts, design delivery sets
  • Assisting Presales team with project inception and delivering consistent results

Required Skills:

  • Remote position combined with regional travel
  • Must be comfortable presenting to and communicating with all levels of staff from Helpdesk to C-Level
  • Bachelors Degree, military, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of delivery and architecture experience with Microsoft products
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be client focused, service driven and able to multitask
  • Subject matter expertise in at least 3 of the following:Active Directory, System Center, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Lync/Skype for Business, PowerShell, OMS, Azure Solutions, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL Server, Identity Manager, Windows Desktop/Surface, Visual Studio, .NET
