Job Summary
An IT company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Mid Level Linux Administrator .
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Responding to help desk technical and product questions generated by our customers
- Answering tickets, emails, phone calls and live chat
- Troubleshooting Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu), Apache, MySQL and PHP
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong background with technology and Linux systems
- Understanding of IP address subnetting and CIDR
- High School or GED equivalent, if not available 3 years work experience
- Understanding of HTTP, Apache, DNS, FTP, SSH, SQL Databases and Network Connectivity
- Strong analytical skills and pattern recognition
