Job Summary
A social organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Movement Building Manager in Oakland.
Must be able to:
- Build relationships with organizers and movement leaders
- Facilitate internal network communication and strategizing through multiple means
- Support the Movement Building Director in developing strategies
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel for 3-5 days at least six times per year
- Demonstrated track record building relationships and leading collaborative movement building strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web browsers, Gmail, Google Calendar, Salesforce
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with community organizing, advocacy and movement building strategies
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Actively participates in all staff team-building activities
