Job Summary

A financial services technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting MySQL Database Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing error diagnosis, error remediation, root cause analysis and document findings
  • Performing installation and configuration of operating system and database supporting financial software
  • Developing and/or improving implementation and operational best practices and procedures

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Hands-on experience performing Sybase Migrations
  • Experience with installation and configuration and tuning of MySQL on Red Hat Linux
  • Good experience with MySQL Replication
  • 5+ years of Strong Database Administration Experience with MySQL
  • Good experience with Performance Monitoring and Tuning of MySQL
