Job Summary

A cybersecurity company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Network Security Administrator in Omaha.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Investigating intrusion attempts
• Analyzing reports and data from a variety of network and host-based security appliance logs
• Assessing, prioritizing and differentiating between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Proven experience in Network/Systems administration
• Previous experience in Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper, or Palo Alto security devices
• Working knowledge of network security, firewalls, DNS and DHCP design and troubleshooting, Internet environments, IPSec and SSL-based VPN's, remote access, and wireless networking
• Strong Customer Service experience
• Individual most have strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate accurately and timely to keep customer informed
