Job Summary
A management consulting and staffing firm has a current position open for a Telecommuting Occupational Safety and Health Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Providing safety and health assistance to management, supervisors, employees, and collateral duty safety representatives
- Conducting incident reports and entering reports and findings into safety management systems
- Performing safety audits, inspections, and evaluations
Position Requirements Include:
- 30% travel
- A Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental health, health physics, biology, or other safety related field
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, to include 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926, 29 CFR 1904, and 29 CFR 1960
- 1 year of work experience in occupational safety and health
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office software and utilization of information systems
