Job Summary

A financial services technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Oracle Database Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Understanding current capacity issues and the capacity planning processes
  • Monitoring production database environment Perform updates/changes during maintenance windows
  • Supporting production and development database environments for Oracle, Informix or DB2

Position Requirements Include:

  • Provide on-site support with the team Performs other duties as required
  • At least 3+ years' experience working as an Oracle DBA in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to develop and troubleshoot change scripts as needed
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, business, or information technology
  • Experience with backup processes & procedures
  • The ability to document standard operational procedures
