Job Summary

A political nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Telecommuting Political Organizer in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Implementing agreed-upon online and offline campaign activities that build visibility for the campaign
• Cultivating, coordinating, supporting and maintaining an active network with both new and established activist groups
• Working to mobilize grassroots activists and coordinate field actions

Position Requirements Include:

• Represent organization at events or within coalitions
• Proven experience organizing, training, and working in coalition
• Experience working with both online and in-person organizing
• Experience and interest in the new economy, peace and justice movements; and/or corporate campaigning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solid computer skills (MS Office-literate & experience working with Google Drive)
