Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Telecommuting Principal Product Marketing Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborating with product management to ensure marketing plans align with market directions
- Creating messaging, positioning, and value proposition
- Developing messaging around customer challenges, key product and solution benefits, and competitive advantage
Qualifications for this position include:
- Willingness to travel
- 10 years of software industry experience, preferably in the areas of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
- 6 years of product marketing experience
- Bachelors degree (MBA preferred) in engineering, computer science, marketing, business, economics, or related area
- Proven track record of success in a fast moving, technical environment including a proven ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
- Ability to develop compelling marketing programs and the requisite materials (themes, content, assets) associated with the program
