Telecommuting Principal Research Scientist

Job Summary

A college assessment service is filling a position for a Telecommuting Principal Research Scientist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Independently designing and conducting psychometric and research analyses for products and services
• Creating and maintaining technical specifications and documentation for psychometric processes and procedures
• Presenting research study plans and results to the Technical Advisory Committee for feedback

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Doctoral degree in educational measurement, educational psychology, quantitative psychology or related field
• Nine years of experience in the development and publishing of high-quality, large scale educational assessments
• Demonstrated experience implementing program and project management methods for complex assessment
• Experience with developing proposal responses for state assessment programs
