Job Summary

A health care cost containment and recovery service needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Principal Storage Architect in Livermore.

Must be able to:

  • Plan, design, and analyze the organization's storage and backup/recovery infrastructure
  • Work with infrastructure product vendors to implement infrastructure improvements, products, and technology
  • Establish strategies for storage consolidation, centralization, and optimization to reduce downtime and costs

Qualifications Include:

  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing highly available storage arrays, and enterprise backup technologies
  • Expertise in storage concepts, protocols and drive technologies
  • Ability to obtain security clearance for Public Trust Positions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years’ experience with Storage Technologies
  • 3+ years’ experience with on-premise backup and archiving solutions, and public cloud backup, archiving, and DR solutions
  • Periodic on-call after hours support required
