Job Summary
An information security company is in need of a Telecommuting Production Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and improving the infrastructure and delivery platform for our products
- Mentoring others through pairing, code reviews, and regular knowledge transfer
- Working with the team to continuously evaluate standards and suggest improvements
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings and events
- Ability to manage Ubuntu or CentOS/RedHat based systems in production public cloud environments
- Proficient with at least one well-known configuration management tool such as Chef, Ansible & Terraform
- Experience with many of the open-source database solutions such as MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL
- Experience supporting SaaS or appliance based solutions
- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
