Job Summary
A technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Production Engineering Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading a team of onshore and offshore engineers
- Taking responsibility for the success of the Production Engineering team
- Ensuring proper prioritization of needs to support the business
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Approximately 10% travel including the possibility of occasional international travel
- 5+ years experience in technical leadership
- 5+ years personnel management
- Hands-on experience as an Operations Engineer or System Administrator supporting a large SaaS platform
- Experience managing complex projects within an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban)
- Possess a strong background in software development including test-driven development (Ruby on Rails)
