Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Profee Radiology Medical Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Attending coding education as scheduled
  • Coding Emergency Department and Ancillary care records
  • Performing remote coding for hospitals via scanned medical records and abstracts via access to hospital abstracting systems

Qualifications Include:

  • Travel will be less than 5%
  • Maintains productivity levels set forth by Community Health Systems while maintaining a 95% coding accuracy rate
  • Broad knowledge of pharmacology indications for drug usage and related adverse reactions
  • Knowledge of ancillary testing
  • Thorough knowledge of the related prospective payment systems
  • Must have valid driver's license
