Job Summary
A consulting firm is seeking a Telecommuting Proposal Manager in Colorado Springs.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing documents to determine specific proposal requirements and needs
- Monitoring work product produced by proposal team members
- Leading or facilitating team work sessions or meetings associated with the proposal
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 10-15% Travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health, Communications, or related field
- 5-7 years experience working in a supervisory or management role for health care proposals, with at least 7-9 years total health care proposal development experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and working knowledge of all MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate skill in using Microsoft Project or similar project planning and scheduling tool
- Working knowledge of managed care organization operations and public sector healthcare (i.e. Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE) and prior experience in health care operations
