Job Summary

A consulting firm is seeking a Telecommuting Proposal Manager in Colorado Springs.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyzing documents to determine specific proposal requirements and needs
  • Monitoring work product produced by proposal team members
  • Leading or facilitating team work sessions or meetings associated with the proposal

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 10-15% Travel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health, Communications, or related field
  • 5-7 years experience working in a supervisory or management role for health care proposals, with at least 7-9 years total health care proposal development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and working knowledge of all MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate skill in using Microsoft Project or similar project planning and scheduling tool
  • Working knowledge of managed care organization operations and public sector healthcare (i.e. Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE) and prior experience in health care operations
