Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommuting Provider Credentialing Analyst.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing, approving, denying or returning applications submitted by providers
- Working within the appropriate standards and timelines established by state and federal regulatory and accreditation agencies
- Adhering to the appropriate standards and timelines established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Credentialing Specialist in a full cycle credentialing role
- Solid knowledge of NCQA or URAC and state credentialing requirements
- Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions
- Must have strong technical skills
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
