Job Summary

A well-known health insurance company is seeking a Telecommuting Provider Payment Integrity Consultant in Albany.

Must be able to:

  • Develop audit tools and conduct reviews at providers' offices
  • Assist vendors and providers with questions related to billing
  • Verify the accuracy of diagnosis information submitted on claims

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must be able to travel 5%
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Applied knowledge of insurance processing, claims processes and practices
  • Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment is required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel and Access
  • Excellent documentation skills
