Job Summary
A well-known health insurance company is seeking a Telecommuting Provider Payment Integrity Consultant in Albany.
Must be able to:
- Develop audit tools and conduct reviews at providers' offices
- Assist vendors and providers with questions related to billing
- Verify the accuracy of diagnosis information submitted on claims
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be able to travel 5%
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Applied knowledge of insurance processing, claims processes and practices
- Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment is required
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel and Access
- Excellent documentation skills
