Job Summary

A software company is seeking a U.S. Public Policy Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing potential amendments and counter proposals, form coalitions for advocacy
  • Leading engagement with U.S. policymakers
  • Analyzing policy proposals impacting our business and develop and drive engagement

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Experience in balancing policy analysis with business goals and requirements to develop win-win solutions
  • Experience in policy development and formulation and engaging and influencing regulators
  • Experience working in a Congressional office, on Congressional committee staff, or in the executive branch
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D., J.D., MPA/MPP) from accredited school and 12+ years experience
  • Strong understanding of the range of tech policy issues
  • Ability to deliver in a demanding and entrepreneurial environment in a timely manner
