Job Summary
A medical company is in need of a Telecommuting Pulmonary Surgery Coder.
Must be able to:
- Maintain 95% accuracy in ongoing quality assurance reviews
- Review medical records for Pulmonary Surgery payer types
- Maintain current and relevant knowledge of coding guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Expertise in Physicians at Teaching Hospitals ( PATH ) requirements and guidelines
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, and/or COC
- Expertise in Cardiothoracic surgery coding and documentation requirements
