Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommuting PxPlus Programmer in Santa Monica.
Must be able to:
- Be responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of a business software application
- Evaluate and develop application program enhancements
- Write, test, and implement new program functionality as requested
Position Requirements Include:
- 3 years of experience working with PxPlus application programming with a relevant degree, or a minimum of 5 years of experience working with PxPlus application programming
- Demonstrated experience with Windows and/or UNIX-based interfaces as part of coding responsibilities in the PxPlus language
- Advanced skills associated with application software design, modification, implementation, and deployment
- Above average ability to translate business problems into solutions coded in PxPlus
- Ability to work with limited supervision in an environment where the leader and peers are geographically distributed
