Job Summary

A health IT solution company is in need of a Telecommuting Quality Assurance Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building and executing automation scripts using open source tools
  • Planning and coordinating testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs
  • Organizeing testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area
  • 2+ years' experience of working on a QA Engineer position
  • Significant experience of working in software development teams and using software QA methodologies and tools
  • Significant experience with both white box and black box testing and solid experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with automated testing tools and experience with unit, specification, regression, stress, performance, disaster, and security testing
  • Good knowledge of SQL and scripting and an understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
