Job Summary
An online univeristy has an open position for a Telecommuting Regional Librarian.
Must be able to:
- Prepare recommendations for library services provided to students that will enhance information literacy objectives
- Evaluate instructional resources for potential to enhance online instruction
- Provide efficient and effective remote reference and research services through web-based venues
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Occasional travel to assigned campus is required
- A Master's degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science from an ALA accredited institution
- Two or more years of relevant experience in an academic library (in a higher education setting)
- Well versed with innovative library resources, services, and technologies
- Demonstrated teaching skills (i.e., information literacy skills) including in an online setting
