Job Summary

A software company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Research Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain an acute awareness of current events in public education at local, state and national levels
  • Provide research, communications and strategy-related expertise
  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize research studies

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Travel approximately 25%
  • Develop and design questionnaires/surveys on a wide array of topics
  • Minimum three years of experience in a position involving technology and requiring interaction with senior leaders
  • Advanced degree in education or social science
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with statistical software programs (e.g., SPSS)
  • Experience with technical tools Excel, Access, SQL or similar analytical software
