Job Summary
A well-known healthcare insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Reviewing Medical Director in Louisville.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying potentially unnecessary services and care delivery settings, and recommend alternatives
- Providing physician review services for utilization management, case management, quality management
- Examining clinical programs information to identify members for specific case management
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to travel 10%
- MD or DO degree
- A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction and willing to obtain a license, as required, for various states in the region of assignment
- Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
- Five years clinical experience
- Technical ability with Microsoft Applications and other computer-based programs
