Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommuting RN or LVN Concurrent Review Case Manager Discharge Planner in Sacramento.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing requests for prior authorization of medical services
- Reviewing provider requests to ensure medical necessity for services requiring preauthorization
- Utilizing nationally recognized criteria to determine medical necessity of services requested
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Opportunity to work 2-3 days remotely once well trained in the role
- Must be licensed RN or LVN
- Previous case management experience is preferred
