An online social networking service needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Ruby Javascript Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Caching, optimizing and developing systems that can handle millions of operations
• Managing and enhancing content ingestion and verification systems
• Building isomorphic applications that solve real-time messaging challenges

Required Skills:

• 5% travel time required per year to company HQ and events

• 5 years of professional experience developing software using Ruby, Rails, and Javascript
