Job Summary

A marketing companay needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Sales Director in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Actively engage new and existing customers
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to generate new business
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in cold calling or outside sales in a media environment
  • Proven experience negotiating, listening to client needs, and closing business
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Robust knowledge of social media including Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and emerging servicesRole Qualifications
