Job Summary
An information technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Security Technology Training Head in Palo Alto.
Must be able to:
- Develop a comprehensive security education program that provides IT security professionals with the knowledge they need to effectively develop, engineer, deploy, enhance and operate the company platform
- Develop, disseminate, and present the education and training materials that provides blended learning opportunities
- Work with colleagues to ensure that the materials are up-to-date and provide the attendees with real-world based education
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel to deliver onsite training at conference and customer locations (anticipated travel 50%)
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the Information Security field
- Expertise in Information Security processes and industry best practices in providing thorough Information Security training
- Minimum of 3 years of classroom instructor experience to include platform delivery of training
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in different functionalities in the training department of a large enterprise
- Knowledge of networking administration and linux systems administration
