Job Summary
A company focused on cybersecurity is in need of a Telecommuting Senior Applied Security Researcher in Reston.
Must be able to:
- Maintain expert knowledge of forensics and incident response practices
- Provide detection and analysis integration support to the company platform
- Monitor technology stacks for threat discovery and new detection viability
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be able to speak at conferences and any other travel required
- Minimum 2-5 years of comparable experience; minimum 6 years of experience if no degree
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Ability to analyze malware and network traffic to extract indicators and develop detections for attacker method
