Job Summary

A technology company is seeking a Telecommuting Senior Cloud Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Solving complex problems at massive scale within a public cloud ecosystem
  • Guiding and mentoring client teams
  • Taking ownership of the technical engagement process and ultimate success around cloud adoption

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to travel to client sites within the Tri-State area including, but not limited to Northern NJ, NY, and occasionally Connecticut as needed
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience and/or military experience
  • 2 years of hands-on experience working with AWS and/or Azure using the API or SDK tools
  • Possessing 5-7 years minimum experience of responsibility for the delivery of professional services in the public cloud technology space
  • Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows
  • Azure or AWS Certification or extensive Azure or AWS training with on the job & hands-on experience
