Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommuting Senior Coding Quality Assurance Specialist in the Sacramento Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing quality reviews of Quality staff work activities to ensure compliance with Coding guidelines
- Analyzing findings from quality reviews of the coding staff, and other relevant coding data
- Providing feedback and support for training and clinical documentation improvement efforts
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to conduct one-on-one contact, formal presentations, and group discussions
- High School Diploma Or equivalent education/experience required
- Demonstrated experience and a proven track record in coding, training, and/or service development in a facility of significant size and complexity, hospital business operations, information systems, and coding applications, as typically acquired in 3-5 years of experience is required
- Registered Health Information Technician - RHIT Or Registered Health Information Administrator - RHIA Or Certified Coding Specialist - CCS required
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in the fundamentals of auditing and monitoring is required
