Job Summary
A well-known insurance company is seeking a Telecommuting Senior Long Term Care Appeals Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate complex plan provisions, and medical and functional information
- Ensure compliance with the customer contract and state regulations
- Review complex LTC claims appeals by completing a fair, independent assessment
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must be able to travel 5%
- 3-5 years of LTC experience
- Ability to read, interpret and explain contracts and long term care plans
- Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
- High School Diploma required
