Job Summary

A well-known insurance company is seeking a Telecommuting Senior Long Term Care Appeals Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate complex plan provisions, and medical and functional information
  • Ensure compliance with the customer contract and state regulations
  • Review complex LTC claims appeals by completing a fair, independent assessment

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must be able to travel 5%
  • 3-5 years of LTC experience
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain contracts and long term care plans
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
  • High School Diploma required
