Job Summary

A global electric company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Senior Product Specialist in the Southeast Region.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating in local marketing events as the VFD Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Providing pre-sale technical support and sales/marketing assistance to key distributors
  • Providing feedback in effort to develop technical/application notes, quick start guides, and other technical marketing materials

Required Skills:

  • 25-40% travel within a Region
  • Experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo, Control Networks and other industrial automation applications
  • Ability to develop and maintain in-depth, up-to-date technical knowledge
  • Ability to write and perform technical product and solution training for groups
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 7 to 10 years of application experience with industrial automation products
