Job Summary

A global telecommunications company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Senior Sales Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparing system quotes for customers
  • Providing pre and post sales technical support
  • Assisting customer in configuring and testing products and networks in lab and field trials

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 50% domestic travel
  • Experience supporting a large service provider in a pre-sales or network engineering capacity
  • 7+ years' experience in telecommunications
  • Experience with Fiber and Copper based Access systems
  • Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 Access/Edge networking technologies
  • Expertise with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and industry open networking efforts
